Detail of the top of my Pictish Totem Skull. I blended modern Pagan imagery with ancient Pictish symbolism. This piece focuses on male, hunting, and warrior energies. The pentacle sits within the horned god symbol surrounded by the phases of the moon, serpents, weapons, a stag, and a shamanic stag man. I blended genuine woad powder into the paint (very pungent initially).
