Currently a metro style messenger with some of the concept based on [link]
However this is just a basic show, the question is...will it be fully functional as a basic messenger/chat? both yes and no.
You see, I'm not re-inventing a messenger service, just the client so most likely you wont see a "full" integration beyond chatting with other would be previewers.
However the style and use of it should make your caramel metro dreams come true, using only jquery and css3/html5. This style and live presentation is meant to again show you what is possible in web design and not what isn't.
MUST READ NOTES: This was completely hand coded/styled from scratch and every ounce of work and time was poured into this, so please respect my wishes and keep any use of this within my knowledge.

Comment that I should of mentioned, as of now it relies on Segoe UI to be installed on your computer as a font.However that's the only "legal" way for me to use the font unless someone suggests a legal alternative.

Legal alternative : Open Sans (you can find it on google web fonts)

Open Sans is already in my web fonts collection and used on many of my older projects, glad to see someone make a legit suggestion. However I would wait till more people queued in on this.
