Ladybug was momentarily caught off guard when Cat Noir suddenly jumped her from behind and wrestled her arms behind her. She recovered her wits quickly, but not quickly enough and she found her wrists tightly bound. Soon she was bound and gagged and helpless in Cat Noir's arms. Why would her trusted partner do this?

Then she realized that it wasn't Cat Noir. It was a sentimonster replica of Cat Noir, sent by Scarlet Moth to capture her. Now the evil replica is taking her to Scarlet Moth, where she will lose her earrings and be revealed - - AFTER she acts as bait to capture the real Cat Noir.
