This is a collaborative art piece with Bethwithart featuring their character, Tanglebang !

Beth did the initial sketch, and then I did everything else. This was originally part of a 3-person collab that we ended up discontinuing part-way through. But I want the coloring and shading practice, and so have decided to take a shot at finishing everything myself! ^_^ We'll see how long my motivation lasts.

On another front, I tried a slightly more ambitious light source than I normally use! There’s a bit more active glowing going on, heh. I was strongly inspired by discussions with Ausp-ice about how they handle shading.

The inks took me 8 hours, and color and shading together took 4.5 hours, for a total of 12.5 hours on my part.

...No, I have no idea why the inks took me so darned long. I do remember fiddling with the perspective for a while, but that's all I've got for you. Needless to say, stuff like that is why I have been trying to speed up my work process recently!
