I am really enjoying the slow pace of this series
I know, it sounds weird for such a "high-stakes" sort of situation, but the way this series takes its time is very realistic, much like how the real world doesn't skip ahead just to get to the juicy drama, there's a lot of time to just be with these characters and learn about them at a similarly slower pace to how we learn about others in the real world. Much like my own friendships, I'm surprised to realise that some have been lasting as long as six years and we're still learning about each other. This series has been going for 2 -ish years now, and I still feel like we're only JUST starting to really get to know these three main characters
