Description
A custom I did recently. This custom originally stemmed from the idea of recreating Kurt Wylde's Sling Shot from Acceleracers along side Taro Katano's 70 Road Runner.

But as I progress with these two customs, I started encountering irreversible problems. The rear portion of the Sling Shot I used for this custom broke off while I was sanding it down to fit the bigger wheels, while the Road Runner I used broke apart when I was straightening the car's body. SO scrapping those two ideas I decided to go with this for the Sling Shot, "What if somebody found the abandoned wreckage of Kurt's Slingshot in the Storm Realm, repaired it and made it better?" I doodled a sketch of it on paper and this was the end result of that concept drawing.

This car is wide. Very wide. If you put this car on a Hot Wheels track, it will not fit due to how wide the car is. The wheels of this were robbed off a couple of my old Acceleracer cars that I ruined as a youngster (not knowing they would be really expensive later down the road) and reused them in this machine. The paint is my first time attempt at trying to do designs by layering paints on top of each other. This was also my first time attempt at trying to detail certain bits of the car with a sharpie (all the silver bits including the headlights). This was also the first time in a long while I decided to give the cars a "wide bodykit", and I did this through cutting a parted out plastic Hot wheels car I had lying around using the sides of the cut car as the extended body of this. The extended deep dish Acceleracer wheels used another broken Acceleracer car I had and I cut the damaged wheels out and emptied their centers and glued them on the existing wheels to create the deep dish look.

I'll provied a more detailed description of the car once I get to digitizing the concept doodle of this car.
