Something a little different for the time being. I've been digging through my files recently for some old characters and I found this picture of one of my custom Hot Wheels cars for a subject last semester. I know I've posted a picture of this car a long time ago, but that picture was really crappy in quality so I wanted to redeem it from that.

What you see here is quite a special car to me, as I've owned it since I was 7 years old. And since then has been my favorite car out of my entire Hot Wheels collection when it was gifted to me December 24th of 2003. As well as being the main inspiration of a line of vehicles in my character's universe. This particular car started out as a red Super Tsunami from the Tech Tuners series of that time and has seen a lot of play time abuse. From racing it on random surfaces and track sets, getting smashed and dinged from crashing it into other cars and things, and has generally been brought to a lot of places I went. It was so beat up that one of the supporting pillars of the roof dislodged itself as well as its original wing being completely torn off.

When I discovered the world of customizing toys when I became a teenager, I tried giving this thing a revival. It has underwent 3 revivals since then, each with better quality of work compared to the last. What is shown in the picture is its current final form named "Banshee", which replicates a car of the same name that Sev owns in my character universe. An eight rotor, all wheel drive, all wheel steering, screaming monster that has a prototype rocket boost system. The only surviving original part of it is the body, as most of the other bits had to be replaced from other donor cars as it was in bad shape. It's hard to believe this thing is 16 years old.
