Kamen Rider BURN's first appearance, and by no means the last. A VERY VERY ROUGH draft.I was able to give off the vibe I wanted to, but I'm not satisfied with either the helmet nor the suit. Looks too much like a Zeon flight suit. I'm still trying to hit that showa feel.
But the important parts were the heat emitters on the forearms/wrist and calf/feet. Also, the torches on the elbows and back stay.
Right now I loaned my tablet out, so hopefully the other designs will in Manga Studio or Photoshop.

I suppose I put a little bit of myself into my charcters (Hell, his civilian form has my pre-Navy hair), but I wrote him from a writer's perspective. I'm empathetic to my character's but at the same time, I consider them separate people.
So, yes and no. He's still Ken Kogeru, but I know what he's felt, done, etc.

As for the torches, I was a bit uncertain of them at first, but I've grown to like them.

personally i think the torches could be used for an eventual power up...

Well right now, I planned to use them as jets. Since they're angled upwards, imagine Burn jumping up, doing a rider kick, then lighting his torches, accelerating him into his enemy.
