For the tutorial, download the pdf version diagram, 4 pages in total (no preview)Can't find time to create new stuff, got across this fox diagram that I drew few years ago, should be much easier than my welsh corgi diagram
I like the simplicity, I focused on the head and tail to make it fox like. Overall, a minimalistic approach

that should be the path of the movie, no real words said.
I started at about uhhh... step 14
just shows how you need to open the shape and fold in that piece right. that might be where you get stuck at. cause that is crucial to getting it right to get the rest of it. and then how at step 18 to collapse in those corners into themselves.
i think the rest is pretty much self-explainatory. just ask if you need anymore help.

I'm currently attempting to fold this design, but I am a little confused about the 'squash' fold part. Could you please explain how the fold is meant to be done?

I did it! Whee! Mine was a bit messy (I'm really bad at sinking and pleating nicely) but it looks like your model.
I had a little trouble with the tail toward the end, because I folded it too close to body...
I'm going to keep trying until mine looks as neat as your model!

Had some probs around step 15-16 and therefore also at 21..
step 27 is confusing
TIP for step 30: use step 33 for sinking I tried sinking while it was flat and therefore it didn't work out..

HOMG it took me forever to make that! >.< But I did it! And I'm proud of him! 
I made it from an index card, so it was small and thick paper, that's why it took so long. He's like 2 inches tall XD But with thinner and bigger paper, I can make this easily!
I had some trouble with the sink part, and the tail, but I overcame it. I'll take pictures of it when it's painted and with some family... XD

Btw I tried to do your Welsh Corgi -origami too. I "got stuck" about in the middle of it, but because it looks even a little bit like corgi (or a fox), it doesn't bother me so much, and I like it anyway
