Can't find time to create new stuff, got across this fox diagram that I drew few years ago, should be much easier than my welsh corgi diagram

I like the simplicity, I focused on the head and tail to make it fox like. Overall, a minimalistic approach

Happy folding

I love this design. I'm sorry people seem to think that simple looking things should be simple to make.

Very nice! I especially love how you did the nose. I haven't found many fox models with such a nicely pointed nose as you yours has. You said you have a Corgi one as well? I adore corgis! I would really like to try out that one as well as this fox.

O_O ...

Ooh, I wonder if there's a safe way to bush out the tail.

guspath In reply to AleaIshikawa [2005-08-08 04:01:20 +0000 UTC]

You mean the step where you have to undo the "close sink"? In fact there is, and that step was drawn for the sake of clarity, I myself wouldn't do it like that. I would rather spread open the tail then "form" the tail by tracing the precreased lines, that way I won't crumple the tail

guspath In reply to Nocciola [2005-08-08 04:26:23 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much But I got bad comments for this one, mostly say it took too much work for such easy looking fox It makes me think about Hideo Komatsu's stuff, simplicity comes with a price I'd say

Nocciola In reply to guspath [2005-09-02 10:12:31 +0000 UTC]

Yesterday I folded a Fox, a new model of mine.
It looks very easy but it includes in its folding two closed sink and a bit of "3D-not-so simple-to-explain" folds.
I will post some pictures in a few days.
Regarding the amount of work and the final look I think that everyone has to do a comparison between the effort required and the pleasure of seeing the work complete and in the end he or her has to judge his or hers own limit !

the simplicity look of the fox seems to be deceiving a lot of people.
this is advanced diagram, people! ... or at least i have problem following. i need ~guspath folding alongside me!
... you should have a "guspathmeet" or something and teach people to fold ^^

Oh my gosh~ it's so cute! I like the minimalistic feel to it. And the two colors are nice too. The sharp points make me think of a fox too...like, all sharp and clever like. I dunno.. ^_^()
