the pic is small cause i had to scan this from normaldrawing paper then touching it up with photo shop
so try and deal well this is another work of art my friend chris
came up with but... i helped i drew the charcher chris drew
the backround only but in the last week chris taught me how
to draw people like this but i can't draw any fretures so i just
drew it as a shadow some of you my know the charachter but
it looks good so i don't care i really want to turn this picture into
an avitar but i can't make it small enogh with out leaving
anything but the face ofthe charachter anyway is anyone
can give me some tips that would help

cool i wanted my icon to be like that but i couldn't shrink it so i
made my own actualy my icon is really popular but i think
it represents me the best cause it's in shadow and is myserous

dude you said in your thing descrpition you drew it...you make it out to seem like its your creation and not that of the person who actually drew it to start off with

i know but technicly the artsit of the show drew it
and everyone else including me copied it... but
what i and everyone else did was take the charachter
and adapt him/her to our art like the back round

One morething! When scanning B/W pics and touching them up, posterize+Magic Wand can work wonders in Photoshop.

Hmm, good picture, but it's JPEG'D which takes away some of the quality. Brighten the background, make the edges of Naota's silloette more obvious. Otherwise, good concept.

I think you underplayed the hard work you did in the background a little too much.

well the whole thing is suposed to have dark under tones so
there really isn't a way to make the back round look
eye catching

I get it. I just think the background is so detailed the low contrast sort of underminds it, but yet again that does make it that much cooler and sets the mood correctly. I allmost overlooked it. It left me curious about what it really looks like. It's your own vision, to do with as you please. I just wanted to give you my two pennys.
