Well, Thor was a Lee/Kirby creation that was modeled after Cap.

*Invulnerability
*flight
*a connection to the Gods
*transformed from a humble mode (Don Blake, cripple physician) to a dynamic superhuman IN A BLAST OF LIGHTNING.
* The Old Wizard Shazam/Odin. Both very wise old men/mentors with long white beards
* the Rock Of Eternity contrasts with Asgard--but not much.
*Mary Marvel/Sif
