24 hour comic day is a sadistic challenge, in which you have to script, plan and create a complete 24 page long comic in 24 consecutive hours. This was my first time entering, and I made... This strange little story. Considering it's nearly Halloween, I figured I'd make a Valentine's themed story! As ya do. I don't think this story is one of my best exactly, hence why I thought it fitting for this. If it turns out crap, only one day lost xDChrist this was an ordeal, but a great experience. I actually finished five hours early xD; And I should have spent the rest of the time making it look pretty, buuuut I'll be honest, my hand was knackered and so was I. I spent them five hours sleeping.

This is absolutely fantastic. I love it so much. The tone change at the end was very comical lol. Wonderful job. Would love to try this challenger at some point.

God, this was fantastic! I really loved the story, specially the ending. Congrats for making this in 20hrs. it's a challenge not everyone would pick.

What a fantastic twist this ended with xD Having expected something usual and heartwarming, which turned to something rather horrific, and ending in humor... that was very enjoyable. Loved the bartender's eyes, too. Even a detail as simple as that added an interesting depth to his character.

So I thought the end would be al romantic or all tragic, but it wound up being both with a little "wut"-ness in there.

I REALLY hate this girl; hated her through every panel of this comic. I really hoped the gay guy would make something bad happen to her. Gah, I'm gonna imagine she was hit by a bus on her way home. Oh god, I'm begging you to make a comic of her gruesome death.
Seriously, "The meaning of Valentine's day?!" Fine! I donate lots of money to the chocolate and flower industry, b****. AND she apparently didn't get HIM anything at all!

By the title of "24 hour comic" I thought you were just going to doodle what you do on an average day as I seen those around before. Sound like you took the harder "24 hour comic" challenge.

I can't decide if the roses are insanely magical or she's just not a very nice person. ...second read thru seems to indicate that he did this to himself on purpose, so I'm guessing the latter. From his agonized moaning at the end he seems to still be alive... happy endingβ½
