Okay, the buttonize effect is le poo. Also, you could possibly do something more interesting by copying the layers for mimiru/bear and then offsetting them a bit by 10ish or so pixels at lower opacity and at different layer modes, tinting the noise, adding crazy lines of text reading "ERROR:" with some sort of insane bullshit, columns of numbers and shittles all over the place, and then generally add more cowbell of all sorts, shapes, and sizes to make it look all blue-ish matrixy. Oh, and of course, HEXAMAGONS!
Hmm...what program are you using? Paint Shop Pro?

Eh... Well, I use Windows 98, so the most powerful software I have for that is Corel Photo Paint 11. Yeah... I know it sorta sucks. -_-;

CHILD! OBTAIN ZE GIMP! LIEK NOW!
Gimp is a pain to use sometimes, but it can do at least 3/4 of what photoshop can do, and then some other things. It just takes a bit of skill and effort. Oh, and gimp is completely free in every way, because it's open source (You can screw with the source code if you want and nobody will flip out because the source code is put up for download by the developers). Layers, multiply, etc. Go dl and learn it's awesome power. ;D

I've used Gimp before. Don't you need Linux to run it? Besides, I'm more comfortable with Jasc Paint Shop or even Ms Paint. I've only used Gimp a few times. It's confusing.

....*facepalms*...
You don't need linux to run it. Everything ( [link] ) paperdragoness does is in gimp on windows.
You can get it for windows at [link] but I'll save you the trouble of looking for the right packages to install on the list.
Since you're running 98 and in the land of canadia,
[link]
is the link to a page of mirrors (pick the one closest to you) of the win98 version of the gtk package that must be installed before gimp.
[link] is a list of mirrors of the main gimp package which is installed second.
Also, which version of Paintshop Pro? Later ones should have the filters for doing pretty much the same stuff as photoshop as well as layer modes.
