Proper reference for Ravé. Not completely convinced about his eye marking, it would look good it it was over both eyes but since it can only be on his left side it looks ...weird. But this will have to do for now, i really felt like drawing him!Also, heres a question. Should I spell his name Ravé, Rahvé or get rid of the é all together and just spell it Rahvey? I just feel like his name is a bit out of place since none of my other names have fancy pronunciations and symbols like that. Lemme know what you think!

I like the marking above just the one eye. Gives him an unique look that seems a little unpredictable.

I like both Ravé and Rahvé, but spelling it Rahvey looks as if you are dumbing down the name too much for your audience/for yourself, at least compared to the other spellings.
I can see what you mean about the eye markings. At first it bothered me, but as I kept looking at it and imagining it in different angles and thinking how it has to be on one eye only made me like it.Everything else about his design is symmetrical, so a little asymmetrical design on his eyes gives the design a more interesting look. It's probably the angle you drew the face in this reference that's making it appear a bit off. I think it looks good

Thanks for the feedback! Now that you mention it, you're right about the name. I hadn't thought of it like that before but I totally agree. Maybe i'll just keep it as Ravé after all, or maybe change it to Rahvé as i'm growing fond of that too. Might make a poll about it sometime in the future!
Yea the marking on his eye will always have to be asymmetrical since the culture he lives in requires it, but I might mess around with the layout a bit and see if I can find something that blends a bit better.

'rahvey' looks so stupid as a spelling tho.. ravé is good how it is. last i heard u hadn't named everybody properly yet anyway? there's room for more spellings w letters from other alphabets so he doesn't stand out

At first it looked dumb to me too but its actually really grown on me since, which is why i'm torn! And yea you're right i have a BUNCH of unnamed characters still so maybe ill decide for sure once i find them all permanent names.

Yea he's still one of my favs ;o; I first thought of the Rahvey spelling as a joke but ive actually grown to like it now, I think it kinda suits him... I might wait a bit and see what i decide on for other characters names and if by the end it still doesnt fit I might change it over. :3 I think a lot of people pronounce it Rave which is why I am considering the change ahaha. It's weird how that happens haha I think the same happened with Cahya. I just wanted to call her Kaya but I was trying to make it ~*cool*~ and Cahya happened LOL
