Description
Ver 1.0 done! I will start on the armaments later. All subject to change on my whim.* Same character as: fav.me/d4mzos3
* Formerly the Nanako character in my comic. I'm doing a redo of her design.
* I still cant think of a new name for her.
* Yes I know she kinda looks like Honda Futayo from Horizon...
*******
Katsuhara Rin's magic specialty is 'domain' control. This allows her to create areas around her which can obstruct, impede, and manipulate the movements of those who pass through them, be it animate or inanimate.
Nearly all of the domains she can create are spherical in shape, the volume of the area depends on how much Rin charges her spells. However, the distance at which the domain can be created is limited to around 200m. Also, Rin requires line-of-sight to the area she is targeting beforehand. After the domain is created, she does not require the line-of-sight anymore. The maximum number of domains that can be active at a single time is limited by a total volume. The domain can also be moved at speeds limited to 3 m/s (depending on domain size/type/range). Once the domain is beyond her 200m range, it automatically dissipates.
Should Rin be rendered unconscious, all of her domains will deteriorate gradually to no effect, taking at most only 30s.
Some of her domain effects include:
* Decelerate (Limited to 30 m^3)
* Accelerate (Limited to 20 m^3)
-Note: These can be particularly dangerous if the field is created IN something.
* Block (Limited to a 15 m^3)
* Cloaking (not true invisibility, one can see distortions observed at multiple angles. Limited to 5 m^3)
* Portal/teleportation (only works on inanimate objects and Rin herself, once cast, all other barriers (regardless of size/type) will be canceled)
[The strength of the effects depends on her concentration and casting level. The total volume limit depends on her skill and health/magicka.]
Tactical Support Augmentation: Rhapsody (Katsuhara Rin Ver.)
(Blue is the gear's effects, the gold/yellow is Rin's own magic(al artifacts))
Rhapsody is a combat fit out especially designed and customized for Rin in order to complement and enhance her abilities.
This gives her increased mobility around the battlefield. The boot thrusters combined with Rin's own stability spells provide superior maneuverability, however, her maximum air-speed is not considered all that fast.

And excellent magic circle you have added. It reminds me of a Mid-Childa magic circle from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. Very nice updates on her armor design as well. And the name for the armor system is genius. Very "Touhou" like.

Well the circle was originally design from that. I plan to have another character with a similiar one to the Belkan and Cyborg circles.

For a second, I was just about reminded of the Russian Federation colors, but then I took a second look at the palette arrangement and the Russian flag. Rossiya = White, Blue, Red.
Your concept is slightly different in palette but nevertheless, professionally colored and well drawn. I love the chibi icon you have drawn on the corner and the "booster" armament as well. The armor style really reminds me of the classic "Gothic" style RIG Suits of Dead Space, especially the side skirt panel arrangement and shape. Very very well done.

lol 'professionally coloured':
Those are just placeholder colours for now. I might do more pallete swaps later.
These are just rough design sketches for now and are heavily subject to later change.
But thanks nevertheless!

Ahaha. True. Just... trying to be insight I suppose? Nothing wrong with that. The design really reminds me of the Dead Space RIG suits in any case, which is an awesome thing. Especially the leg armor complete with rocket boots.
As for the colors, I won't force you to do this suggestion, but I'll offer it in any case. It would be viable to have a more somber palette for a combat setting and uniform. Dark blues and greys for urban settings and forest green with broken up blurs of a close mix of earthly colors for a more forested set. It'd make sense for a military themed concept to have those colors, if highly modernized and up to date. Parade color of course is the usual colorful bright "show off press" palette.
Unless, you are doing a very early WWI time period style for the theme, in which case is very acceptable as well. XD In any case and whatever you do, I love it. It's very very well done and the proportions are correct.

Well I still havent finalised who/what the suit is designed to be fighting. Nor have I decided what the character's affliation/history...
This suit is just gonna be a one off, custom designed gear for the character, so uniform colours are irrelevant.
