Description
The Irken spore reproduction theory is something that Sanoon and I developed. I eliminates the silly idea of Irkens have the exact same reproduction system as humans, which realistically is just silly. You're free to accept this theory as fact if you want or dismiss it, it's totally up to you.
Organ layout and design is credited to me, if you have any questions ask away. I am making sure to have this all explained because this is what will be used with Owen and Plink.

Of course, there is also the possibility that only those meant to be Invaders are born via the tube method; or that this method is used by all but the tubes are then used to allow them to develop physically into a state better for survival. Maybe they must finish developing outside the womb.
Either way, this is a very nice picture, very detailed, and looks as if it might actually work.

Yeah. I love fantasy/sci-fi things, and I love them more when they get over-analyzed and scientifically explained. Like in Peeps (scott westerfeld), scott explains vampires in a scientific way... which is probably why I love Peeps and hate twilight, because the only reason they give for the vampires sparkling is "because they only drink animal blood."

I do love when people who writte fanfiction about different races-no matter arliens, humanoids or so have their ovn theories on body build and functions! Theese theorys are normaly more interesting and have more sense than those cartoons or games or so .
May I ask? Do 7 get inside of 3 or it's just touch contact? and penis 7 do look like it would not ''exist'' like orghan of mammals. If i understand penis of thies spiece is just a part where spores comes from but it's not looking other than female's outside orgghans.
Anyway do Irkens feel climax? I am sure they does but with such a strange anathomy...who knows.

Much more plausible than nearly identical mammalian reproduction.
Would the use of this reproductive system be impaired by Irken cloning? Or become obsolete over time, do you think?
H.G. Wells touched on an interesting point in War of the Worlds, when describing the Martians. Something about devolving into a new form and simply producing asexually (because they grew above their sexual impulses? I read it a long time ago).

Essentially, most cloned Irkens are used for soldiers.. they don't have any sexual organs, they've been completely taken out of the DNA. However about 30% or less of the society is cloned into the "civilian' or private sector" class of civilians. These ones, like Owen and Plink, have sexual organs.. however the necessary hormones are suppressed so they can't be used.
The reason that the Irkens keep a percent of the population with natural reproductive organs is for the safety of the race. In case for one reason or another the cloning facilities on Irk are destroyed they want to know they can revert back to their natural way of reproduction if they need to. I'm sure you can think of the reasons why this is smart by yourself..

I must say, your theories are very well thought-out. I love the attention brought to the tension (and manipulation) of the opposite sex. It forms a particularly interesting parallel to human society, as well... Heh, Owen and Plink don't have to worry about that, huh? ^^ They're so adorable. Your comics are a delight.

Oh, it's excellent. =o It's the equivalent of a "technological Eden". Love is belitted, and "everyone belongs to everyone else". People are cloned and assigned to different classes. Lower classes are genetically modified to be short and insuperior--which reminded me of IZ. In fact, one of the main characters is of the highest class (Alpha Plus) but because he's short and weird, no one takes him seriously. XD Like Skoodge...
It's by Aldous Huxley, if you're interested in reading it.
That might be true of him as well. XD He seems to have been influenced by a lot of other media...
