Thanks I use Gunze mr Color C series paints for airbrush - the main color is dark yellow for german WWII tanks. For details painted with brush I use Vallejo and Citadel paints.

The whole thing's awesome, naturally, but what really draws my eye is the texture effect on the shield. How in the world did you achieve that?

I've painted the shield black, and then added white layer with an airbrush through the hexagonal mesh. The mesh must be as close to the model as possible, or the edges will be blurry. It was hard to find a mesh with such pattern - in my case it's a window anti-insect net .
