Because I really do.Β Really, I don't even understand what people see in that... That video is stupid, nothing scaring in it. But of coruse, people comes with their overreaction and it seems that people do what the monkey does.

it has a seriously powerful message about both society and it's media on how it wants us to: Use are imagination and CREATIVITY, how it wants us to spend our TIME, how and who it wants us to LOVE, what to do with the newest DIGITAL technologies, how it wants to look and what it thinks is HEALTHY, and how it wants us to DREAM.

the normal fans like it because of the characters and videos' meanings....not because "oh shit wow much spooky", i know this stamp was uploaded when there were only 2 episodes but liking a series with 6 episodes isn't overreacting to me, but I'm fine with it if anyone dislikes/hates it for their own reasons.

I like the videos. The characters are alright to me too. The first video just startled me, not scared me (two different things). The second one was pretty cool. And the overused human designs and Padlock, even both combined just pisses me off. It got old far too fast, the fandom is mostly rabid and insane and is collabed with Homestuck too much from what I've seen.
IMO, the videos are okay, the fandom's HORRIBLE.
You hate it, and I absolutely respect that opinion. I don't hate the videos, just the fanbase.

I don't know about you dude, but another thing that pisses me off is the whole "padlock" thing. I mean yeah you're entitled to ship what you want but the versions on tumblr just take the characters completely out of proportion, they seem sociopathic at worst! The humanised renditions of the ship (Disregarding MAJOR OOC-ness) is a little less weird, and I understand that the puppets are somehow sentient inanimate objects in their universe, but beyond that, yes - like a couch and a soda can.

NextΒ came the second one.
Then came the fandom.
Finally, there is a Burning rage inside that allows me to imagine ripping apart that notepad and smashing that clock.
And I'd have to disagree that a troll wrote that fanfiction, because if it WAS a troll, it would have misspelled words in the fanfic.
That fanfic also made me afraid to masturbate.

First of all it is okay to say that something scares you deeply, we all get these feelings, but frankly it is melodramatic to claim that because of this you will never draw again, no offence intended but it is a bit silly to say this.
(Though with all of this stupid 'padlock' fanart going around I agree with the thought of destroying the objects)
Secondly for it to be a troll it does not inherently have to be bad spelling/grammar, reading the fanfic again (bad idea) I find it very difficult to believe that it is NOT a troll.
Dude, if the generically creepy DHMIS1 and 2 got you too scared to draw, and some lame, gross fanfic allegedly made you "afraid to masturbate" then surely the concept of destroying a "living" clock and a "living" notepad should unsettle you as well.
