Darlene is a nāga who was raised in a broken home by an alcoholic father and narcissistic step mother who failed to support her. She ran away from her parents at the age of sixteen, by seventeen she had forged her own territory and at the age of eighteen the quad (Halone, SIN, Nikolai and Luna) were passing through it when Darlene became obsessed by Nikolai and SIN, and made it her mission for them to be her mates. She would constantly stalk them, learning all she could about the pair of them to try and relate to them, she would constantly insult Halone to try and get them to leave her. She would be incredibly cruel, from lying about Halone being ugly and saying they deserved better to saying Halone was ‘too ugly to be raped, she’s just an ugly girl looking for attention’. She would try and impress Nikolai and SIN by hunting large animals and bringing her kills to them, and Nikolai and SIN would tell her to ‘leave little girl, this is the big girls and boys club’ which would make her have a meltdown, to which they would all call her a spoilt brat which made her hate Halone even more as she believed Halone to be the only thing standing between her and a throuple of true love with herself, Nikolai and SIN. Occasionally her and Halone get into physical fights, which Halone always wins.
