Description
Responding to multiple reports of armed individuals gathering around the city stormtroopers are quickly dispatched for fear this could be an uprising in the making. Fighting breaks out across the planet and it becomes clear this isn't just a rebellion by the disgruntled locals but an invasion. Republic starships have arrived in orbit and are releasing hundreds of fighters and landing craft are offloading troops and armoured vehicles. The forces of the "Empire" are totally unprepared, outnumbered and unable to hold their ground against the Republic army and the citizens who have taken up arms in an effort to aid the liberation of their world.Their ship has been shot down and the pilot dies on impact, the squad attempt to provide covering fire while one trooper retrieves a wounded team mate. Even if they can get him stabilized they're cut off from reinforcements in a city full of hostiles.

This was going to have colour added to it but I've gotten into a routine of finishing the lines then immediately becoming terrified that I'll mess it up trying to colour it. Oh and if anything looks weird like anatomy or posing, etc, my excuse is I drew this in a hurry while intoxicated, it was done in my week off before christmas so I was celebrating hard
I also forgot the story I had for this so you can take that crap I made up on the spot (it was 6am when I submitted this here) or make your own story, either way thank you for looking

One of the reasons I enjoy your drawings is that they all have an actual story behind them. Sometimes it's articulated with some words, like here - but even if not, I know that the story is there, and you're bringing it to life in your line work.

Yo this looks fantastic! I've been a fan of your work for awhile now and i really like drawing clones myself. I really like your slightly more realistic take on storm/ clone troopers. The extra pouches, radios, grenades, and varying armor help make each character look unique in his own way. Keep it up!!!

So is the idea for the story, that the Empire was founded independently from the Republic, and this is the result of a battle between the two?

The Empire was always the end goal and the clones were a way to eliminate the Jedi but in my story the clones didn't all just go "okay, creepy evil-looking old guy just told me to shoot my boss" and proceed to blast them. They detained their Jedi generals/commanders and tried to find out more about this supposed coup they were planning. Palpatine sees his Jedi genocide hasn't worked so he flees the planet and has to bring forward some of his plans. About 6 months after his escape from Windu he deployed the stormtroopers and tries to take everything by force.
That's just the bare basics of my nonsensical story but it was all thrown together in a hurry, I just wanted to draw stormtroopers fighting clones

I love this pice but I have one problem with it, imperial stormtroopers didn’t help fallen allies thy were actually trained against doing just that because it slows progress in battle

These troops would help their fallen comrades, the trained soldiers and ex-republic troops would anyway, the spaarti clones wouldn't.

Yeah, it was going to be an ARC-170 but I have no idea of how they scale up to each other so I went with the V-wing, then again I don't know how big they are compared to TIE's either so meh.

Yeah, I hear you there.
I was just looking at some size comparisons of various SW starfighters and I think you did a fine job with the V-wing and the TIE here. ARC-170s are bigger for sure, but aren't much longer than an X-wing, they're just considerable taller.
