Katara sat down next to the lake, it was around 3 in the morning and all the other kids were already asleep. After all, they were very tired. She looked at her reflection and let a sigh out. Her hair was messier than ever. She tried to make it look better hidding it under her hat, it didn't work.

"Stop doing that" A familiar voice told her. "Do you really think someone cares about your hair at 3 am? Everyone's sleeping" She rolled her eyes.

Zuko wasn't her favourite person on Earth... if I can call this place 'Earth', she thought. Yes, they are classmates, but they're not friends, they only talk to each other because of Aang. Actually, it was Aang's idea to sign up for Summer Camp. This is going to be totally awesome!, he told them. We're going to spend a few days together and maybe you'll finally be friends!. Yeah, friends.

"What are you doing awake?" She asked. "I thought you'd be the first one to fall. I mean, you and Gabumon just fought against Seadramon"

Zuko smiled and sat next to her. "I just wanted to be sure that there isn't another Digimon wanting to eat us or something". He looked at their reflections in the lake. "Also... I wanted to be alone for a while..."

"Do you want me to go? I don't want to interrupt you and your thoughts". She was starting to stand up when he grabbed her hand and stoped her.

"Please, don't".

"I can't understand you" Katara said. "You just said you wanted to be alone and now you're asking me to stay. You're such a weird guy, Zuko Ishida".

"I just... I'm afraid, you know?" The 11 years old boy let out a sigh and started to play with his harmonic. "This... DigiWorld... it scares me. None of us knows where we are or if we're going to see our families again. I want to see my mother again..."

The girl didn't know what to say. She knew that Zuko's parents divorced a few years ago, he went to live with his father Ozai and his little brother Azulon went to live with their mother, Ursa. He always seemed to understand the situation and avoided talk about her mother. It hit her to see him so fragile right now.

Katara looked at the boy, a few tears were covering his face. She lifted her left hand and cleaned them from the boy. "I'm sure you'll be able to see her again, Zuko" She said. "We all will be able to see our parents again. I promise". Zuko smiled at her, it was the first time she saw him smiling in months.

"Thanks" He said at the same time was placed one of his hands over Katara's right hand.

"For what? I just said what I think"

"Exactly. Thank you. Since the moment we appeared over here I never thought that I'd see my mother again, you just gave me a little hope. I really appreciate that". She giggled and then punched him in on his shoulder. "Auch! What was that?!"

"That's for being sentimental" She said, smiling. "You're supposed to be like a rock, aren't you?"

"I guess so..."

"Now shut up and play something on your harmonic. I've been staring at that thing since the moment you started to play with it in your hands".

Zuko rolled his eyes and followed the girl's commands. A beautiful melody filled the air. She closed her eyes, enjoying the moment, the music and the company.

Maybe Aang was right. Maybe we're finally going to be friends...
