Well, at least Mara isn't totally gone. But does she remember Ilyana? Why are the other golems stopping?

Their leader, Mara stopped fighting so they are following her lead.

In hindsight I realized she has no idea if Mara is acting under her own free will or not.

I had thought about that. I figured that if the 'golems' didn't stop or pause their attack then Ilyana would have just recalled her mace and kept fighting. She's in a good spot to shield her teammates if needed too.
