You are correct in what you are saying and agree, this is from one of my very first shoots and when I did first started. As you can see a lot to learn ( and still do ). The camera has since been upgraded as well as lighting. I think a lot of the time its trail by error. I would like to try diffrent styles of lighting as well as smoke at some stage.

As an artist, I would say that you picked up a great view. Minimize shadows you lit face of the girl, highlighting the beauty and ... The photo quality of your camera!
