Silverthorne, Near the Iron Hills

Once Oberon was out of danger, running away from the distracted lions, he collapsed on the gras. He had run until his legs hurt, his heart beating like crazy, the young fawnling was panting heavily. He had been so terribly scared, had feared for his very life... then this rabbit appeared. Was it the rabbit he had tried to feed some while ago? Oberon wasn't sure, he wasn't able to tell them apart like he could other Fawnlings. Still, he was a dreamer, he was kinda in hope that it had been that rabbit. And he hoped that it was safe now, that the lions didn't get to it.
He almost jumped when he heard a noice behind and something comming through the bushes. But he saw it before he would have started to run again. The rabbit, it had to be the same rabbit, it had to. It got closer, slowly, carefully until it was right in front of him. It sat down, looking at him with interested eyes, then got up again and tried to pull of the quills from Oberon's nose that had been there for too long and it hurt terribly, but the young Fawnling kept still, knowing that the creature wanted to help him. Maybe he now had some kind of friend?
