Well, this is it. The last hoorah, the finishing touch... the final retroactive entry in this flashback series. For this, dear curator... was the one that started it all.

As noted in my contemporary artistic origin story (accessible by expanding the "About Me" section on my home page), I rediscovered my potential to draw through writing whiteboard signage for my at-the-time mentor, a curandero in rural southern Texas. It was after this eureka that I remembered being given a portable magnetic whiteboard set (designed for refrigerator use, I think) some time before, which had remained untouched for years. So to storage it was - to brush off the dust, snap off the packaging, and try out my theories - for they were, at this time, only theories.

Everything here was freehand; the pose, detailing, and expression were all from memory. And when the dry-erase settled and I held my first drawing up to the light... I knew I had stumbled on something wonderful.
