This piece was the second whiteboard drawing I made upon rediscovering dry erase markers' artistic potential, and the first full-body attempt. Proportions and limb placement are wonky because I was drawing entirely from memory. The overall smudginess and inconsistent pressure throughout is obvious in hindsight, but understandable; I was literally still figuring out how to draw with my new instruments, and all I wanted to do, so excited I was at the possibilities, was get something down as quickly as possible. So here he was: a man to contrast my first (female) subject, and a full-body shot to test my skills' limits. I still think this one was a good foundation lesson in "what to detail, and what to leave out"; body hair (as I tried to depict on our subject's arms) is much too fine to draw directly, but wrinkles in clothing are fair game, for example. So a drawing like this could be seen as a misstep, but a necessary one for future endeavors.
