Right, so we're really doing this now, huh? Okay then.

So, um. At my own peril, I've decided to talk a little bit about the mind-blowing art epiphany after all. Just a piece of it, though. I think this part is pretty straightforward. The rest will come in time, hopefully.

Earlier this week, my folks came into possession of a freestanding wooden cabinet. It's definitely on the taller side, with some decent width, but the takeaway here is that all four of its doors are built of tinted glass, framed with wood.

And a little thing about glass? Would you have it, it's theoretically the perfect material for drawing on with dry-erase because it's smooth and non-porous.

Clearly some tests were in order. This was my first attempt, clocking in around ten minutes.

(Because when in doubt what to draw, just start a self-portrait, right? Right. I'll see myself out)


Even though the colored ink is hard to see, there was definitely some potential here worth investigating... though that part of the tale would be best explained in another illustration...
