Oh hey, you can actually see some of the work in progress on this one! I've learned now that black markers, naturally, show up the best on a camera, so my final work is done with those. But the rough sketching before that is done in a different color - I favor blue, but green will work in a pinch if the blues decide not to cooperate.

Upper right - testing faces for Felix Hauville, a fictional character I've never drawn before. Just was trying out some ideas before committing to the real deal.
Far right - left hand resting on Felix's thigh. Since this was freehand, wanted to get some muscle memory into my hand before proceeding with the sketch; it makes for less erasing on the final product in the long run.
Upper left - doodles drawn while burned out from one drawing session, trying to take a breather before trying again. You might vaguely recognize them as Octopath Traveler characters... vaguely.
