so i was trying to finish the b&w layout of the Dances with Luna commission and it turned into mud, so i am refining my character studies and will be building more environmental props and re-doing it all in colorRelated content

Excellent colors and nice flow in her mane and wings. I like the expectant look on her face.

Great pic, love the pose, colors, and almost everything.
Two major issues though:
1 - nostrils. The forward facing nostrils give her a "pig" look. the nostrils should be more on the side, and be slits, sloping down towards the front. Also should be very subtle, rather than pronounced, almost not there.
2 - something about the ear bothers me. It seems doesn't seem to be attached correctly to the skull. Again there is a slight "pig" look. the ears I think should look more like your luna costume 04
in the silhouette.
I'm being picky, and I'm sorry. Because apart from those two things, I like the piece.

Your anthros are some of the best I've ever seen, and this is no exception. She looks both regal and lovely. Love the phases-of-the-moon necklace.

RLY. As a Princess Luna, just like Celestia are so unbelievably hot that their hair flows in the wind in a closed chamber completely DEVOID of wind. Everything else should match that level of attractiveness.

Abs (not hardcore 6-pack) make for at least 3 more curves in the midsection. Hourglass midsection makes the hip curves pop.

actually it is the same model that i have always been using perhaps because she has no actual texture or SSS map or bump map makes her look less equine
