Oh, don't get me wrong.Β I would never say, "Don't touch your cat."Β As a matter of fact, I love petting my cat.Β I used to pet her sister all the time because she would practically beg me to.Β The "problem" is that most people don't understand a cat's body language and don't realize that MOST cats only tolerate the touching of it's belly for a little while.Β (I know from experience.Β LOL.)Β I also quite agree with your statements about foods.Β I never stopped eating eggs (but I never was much on eating eggs).Β I don't eat red meat like I used to but only because I don't desire it like I used to not because I believe it's bad for me.Β I wouldn't own a pit bull but only because I'm not much of a dog person.Β
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's a running gag about rubbing, or petting, a cat's belly tends to overexcite them to the point that most, especially males, tend to get a little nippy.Β You take a female feline the size of the one in this drawing and such overexcitement could be a WEE bit detrimental to one's health.Β But, then again, it could make for some EXTREMELY fun times with one like her.Β WHOA!Β LOL.
