i painted this for chris. a poem chris wrote:While Watching Hazel Paint the Buddha
On a Summer Afternoon
The fan gently cyclic whirls above,
And beyond that, clouds layer on cloud.
She lays on the floor, painting Siddharta,
Stroke upon stroke revealing That,
The flowering lotus obscured by dead petals,
Contained in the being of each blossoming life.

Nice colors, and a very good subject. ^.^ If you cut away all that white around the picture, it would be better centered and distract less, but that's the only qualm I have with the whole thing- excellent represenation.
