Personality:
Rick is a lovely man to be around. Very calm and collected most of the time and very loyal to boot. He has a bit of separation anxiety, specifically towards those he's particularly close to, such as his familiar Roll. In fact, Roll sort of acts as his emotional support animal in a way. Rick is a bit skittish and jumpy, a clap of thunder is usually enough to make him curl up into a ball out of fright. He hates confrontation and will usually avoid all tense situations when he can, being a bit cowardly, but also very supportive of the people around him. Even if he might not be brave enough to do anything in the moment, you can bet he'll be there to help afterwards.

History:
Rick was born and raised in a colony of Armadillos. While this colony didn't shun outsiders, they were often avoided to an extent when they visited the village. Until one day when a mysterious witch showed up giving familiars to people like candy. It was a strange sight, as she seemed to give them to people at random. Once she came across Rick, who was a child at the time, she handed him a snail shell and told him it was his new familiar. Sure enough, when he got home, the snail came out of its shell to greet him. Seeming to have a bit of social anxiety itself, as it couldn't stand being around so many people in the plaza.
Eventually, he decided to move on from his hometown, finding outsiders and the world beyond his home much more interesting. Thus, arriving in lilypad.
