Sharing my entry for the comicon contest at gameartisans.org. I decided to enter a few days before the deadline so I had to pull off a drawing and painting marathon to complete this and the other pieces that had to be done for the contest. In spite of the rushing around I enjoyed this a lot and had lots of fun making it. Hope you like it.Oh, and yeah it's not an actual cover! I just made it look that way to enhance the presentation of the image.

There's actually been at least 3 explanations as to how he flies:
-His suit is made of metal mesh, which he levitates
-He repels the metals in the ground
-He surrounds himself with a magnetic force shield and levitates that

This is great work! Magneto is awesome, and your representation of him makes him look very tough yet intelligent, the way he is meant to be portrayed. You're model sheet looks great too!
P.S: I just saw some of your art for Hoopworld in a magazine ad the other day! That game looks so awesome.
