I'd be too uncomfortable to vote using a mobile when deviantART itself refuses to fix their own mobile site which has a problem preventing the most important feature of the mobile site (sending messages and notes, according to a recent site update feedback report) since November and has yet to do a thing about it.

True that. A lot of deviants are rather young and may not have such a phone, and other deviants such as myself are low on money and have to use a cheap phone. A website would have been much more beneficial for voting purposes but it's not dA's fault. It's the award program's.

How about ACTUALLY do your jobs to remove art theft and maybe give unfairly banned people a chance to get back on before you win any awards? Like the days when I was still new and could actually get trolls removed and stolen art reported and taken down. And where people could make a successful appeal to be unbanned. (I still remember what you did to MrJRussell87 and Satoshisgirl back then when they did nothing to be banned)

And also, to everyone out there asking what dA has done for you, not to sound terribly negative, or rude, or naive, but the fact that dA is HERE for YOU to use should be plenty enough. They've done quite a good job running a successful website for a loong tim, not to mention the sign-up is FREE and they don't FORCE you to get a Premium. I honestly don't think that the ads are all too big of a deal, and besides, if most of the community is free, how else are they going to get revenue? I think that the fact that dA exists for you to put down your art to the WORLD, connects you with people just like YOU, and is just simply a free website that heck, some people even make MONEY on this website and you don't see dA asking for any.
Alright, I don't mean to say "HAY GUYZ VOT FO DA <3 <3 <3," because sure, there may be other companies, websites, people, etc. that ARE better than dA and are more deserving of this award, but all because dA is asking you to MAYBE do this doesn't mean you shoot back with "Yeah? So what?" because thats a dA account you're using to flame dA, who's done a fine job of maintaining this wonderful website, and if you don't like it, (this sounds bad but) just get off dA then. DA isint the only site to do this. there are places like tumbler, photo bucket, or to sell/ make art (at your OWN PRICES!!!), zazzle, etsy, ebay, cafe press etc.

ive sold on DA and its really not that good. DA takes most of the money unless you have premium membership to fix the percentages.

maintain? ive seen countless art thieves that take WEEKs if ever to get banned. seems like unless you own the art that you report has been stolen, DA doesint really care. not to mention massive changes that NO BODY seems to want.
the ONLY reason i stay on DA is because my friends are on here. if they all moved to tumbler or somewhere else then id probably have no reason to stay

Your art will only go around the world if you market yourself... here on dA, your art gets lost amongst the millions of deviations (or more). Any success or popularity you have as an artist is because of you alone - not this website. Please remember that, because ultimately, it's all about you the artist.
