The outlines are there, I've just not coloured them in to make easier to digitally colour this piece(if and when I get round to it).

I guess it might change from book to book as well, seeing as I've only read the X-Wing series.

I used my lads toy interceptor for reference. They probably did'nt reearch it properly. Although, as far as I can remember, the stripes are pretty much the same in the comics. I can't remember readiing any descriptions of 181st fighters in any novels I've read.

I've never read the comics, so I can't comment on them, but I remember the bloodstripes being at least briefly described in the X-Wing series. Can't remember which specific book though, I think maybe Iron Fist...

I've read quite a few of the X-wing series books, but it was a long time ago. The Rogue Squadron comic series is worth reading though. A lot of them are based on Fel's point of view.

imperials to start with; thrawn, kuellor, isaard, fel and some stormtroopers. but, i do wanna do some seperatist stuff at some stage and durge, ventress and grievous are some of my fave characters.
