I painted this on livestream, and it STARTED OUT as a totally serious picture of a faerie king. Then *Bailiwick began insisting that owls lived inside his bark crown, and, well, this happened.~Nhyra and ~lacklusterXX share blame as well, for encouraging me.
I regret nothing.

Not sure if he's thinking deeply about important matters, or he's trying hard to ignore the fact he has owls on him and posing for you.

I love it! I think it still is serious, but the owls show a compassionate, caring side. So awesome, badass, tough guy king is still a good king who cares for his subjects. ;D

It's very beautiful. I like the muted colours and the shadowing is very good. The owls are very cute. Very interesting artwork with depth
