p.s. there is minimal cropping for composition, the bird was very close. And yes I know staying outside in the cold doesn't make my fever go down but I could not resist the birds and the snow falling.

wow! you go to so much trouble, but my god it's worth it! I managed to get close to a baby blue-tit in my back yard last year. that was an awesome moment. the adults seemed to be using the back yard as a creche, and a hole in the wall by my window as a home

I just love the movement from the snowflakes, especially when the bird looks ready to take off. Shows a contrast
And maybe it's not good for you to go outside with your fever, but I know I go outside often with my fever to feel like I have a normal temperature
