Once again, I've decided to post up another outline design from my Danny Phantom/Kamen Rider story titled Kamen Rider Phantom. This time it's Danny's heavy weapons form called Artillery Mode.

This mode is kind of an oddity; appearance wise it looks kind of ridiculous, yet in the story it is something of a favorite among my readers. Basically it's Danny's Rider form with a small cannon with gatling barrels around it replacing his right arm and a sniper scope that looks like something you see on a Gundam. Danny uses this mode whenever he needs the extra firepower since Phantom Mode is a hand to hand combat form. He fires a constant barrage of ectoplasm beams from the gatling barrels to suppress a ghost rather than try to turn the ghost into Swiss cheese. The cannon in the center is used for his finisher, a Rider Shoot called Spectral Blast, which fires a powerful beam of ectoplasm into a ghost and then opens a portal inside them thus sending the ghost back into the Ghost Zone.

As a long range combat form, Danny's Artillery mode is slow and isn't good at dodging enemy attacks. In fact, even when he is shooting at his foes, Danny is a sitting duck because he needs to be in a strong stance so that he can fire at the ghosts without suffering from the recoil from using this mode.
