This is a drawing I did was inspired by the Image Comic Haunt. I came across this comic in a bookstore while waiting for the showing time for a movie I was going to watch. Anyway, when I saw the comic and looked at the cover I saw the main character in a black and white costume that reminded me of Danny's ghost form.

As I read the comic, I found out that the main character is named Daniel. As I continued reading, I found out that he and the ghost of his brother can merge together to form this ghost like character code named Haunt. After reading the comic I thought about the idea of Sam gaining ghost powers differently which resulted in this.

The backstory to this drawing is an AU and goes like this; Danny and Sam are about 16 years old and have the pyschic link from the concept. They used to date each other, but they were scared to go further and broke up. However, trouble came in the form of Dash Baxter who was interested in Sam after seeing her develop a figure. Sam refused him due to her still liking Danny.

Seeing Danny as a threat to his chance to score with Sam, Dash and his crew had set a plot to kill Danny while making it look like an accident. Dash had gone with the simple hit and run, running Danny over while 'pretending' to swerve away to 'avoid' hitting him but failed. Sam was devastated when she heard what happened.

However; Danny returned as a ghost because he discovered that his death wasn't an accident at all. He found out that Dash planned it and wants revenge. Due to his link to Sam, Danny's spirit approached Sam and when they touched each other they merged into this black and white anti-hero female ghost that Danny calls Phantom.

After the merger, Danny's rage and desire for vengence escalated as he planned on using their new powers to enact his revenge. Sam on the other hand wanted to use their combined powers to stop the ghost attacks since Danny's parent got the ghost portal working causing numerous ghosts to attack Amity Park. This causes friction between the two, but surprisingly enough Danny and Sam still loved each other enough to reach a compromise. Danny will let Sam use their powers to protect their home, and Sam will help Danny put Dash behind bars for what he has done, despite Danny wanting Dash's head on a pike.

Ability wise, this Phantom has the basic ghost powers. However, it's Danny who is providing the power to the duo, but his rage controls the powers while Sam serves as the body and moral compass. Danny has also taken an 'interest' in morphing Sam's body into lethal weapons such as elongated claws, blades, razor sharp whips, a stinger ponytail. In a way, Danny took some tips from Carnage from Spiderman. Danny can also morph any weapon Sam holds into a more lethal version such as changing an ecto-gun into a ghost ray minigun.
