Description
Any pair of greaves obviously needs a pair of bracers to go along with them! So, here are my Orc bracers. In a sense, they're one and a half pair - the right one is based on a store bought specimen, the left one is custom. The reason this is the case - and the reason I 'Orcified' the right one in the first place -Β is that of the pair it was part of, the left one was broken beyond repair. So, I was left with a single bracer.
In the end, when this project came along, I figured I'd do to that single bracer what I did with the greaves; adding upon it with Orcy goodness. In this case, bones. Given I no longer had a left one to go with it, the other one is a custom affair out of neccesity. Out came thick leather, straps and rivets! The metal splints are actually steel splints. Quite tough stuff; drilling the holes took a few minutes per hole.
Anywho. I'm still having loads of fun with this costume, so stay tuned for more!

Thank ye Quite getting the hang of this 'Orcifying process'
I hacked at the splint bracer with a reenactment sword in the mean time - I'm quite confident it'll stop a real blade
Not so sure about the bones, but it does look good
Long live spareribs
