wow, I'd like to write about how great the detail is and how expressive the characters are, but it's seems redundant after all the other comments. So, I'm forced to say, nice work. I'm thoroughly impressed.

Your comic pages are quite lovely. I like them a lot.
As for the pencil/ink question, I think it depends on what kind of mood your trying to create. The pencil version seems rich and moody, while the inked seems more modern and surreal, dispite the fantasy theme.
They're both striking, but I think I favor the pencil version. It seems more fitting to the setting.

Pencil certainly seems to be popular, and it just simply is easier in my experience (not very much) to get better detail with pencil. Very nice work, can't wait til page 5.

I'd like to add my vote for the pencil version. Not only does it add physical depth and character, its darkness enhances the emotional mood.

Man those pencils/inks are brilliant. Really nice line/shade quality there. Awesome.
The only criticism I might give is in the camera angles that you chose. It's minor, but I think it would further tighten up your storytelling. Because comics are about storytelling more than the individual artistry of the frames. (Although I'd kill for your illustrative technique).
Between panels 3 and 4 and again between 5 and 6, the POV line is broken for the reader. There's an old film-making rule that's pretty much still in use today about not breaking the 180 degree mark.
In essence, don't swing the camera around a full 180 degrees, except in a few particular circumstances. Between these frames, there's a break in the reader's point of view that makes it a little bit more difficult for the reader to figure out where we're looking at. Suddenly, we're looking at the back of her head... did she turn or did we whip around behind her? Or both? ALthough it makes sense in the context of the page once you get all the additional information, the reader has to do a little more work that probably detracts from the flow and storytelling.
In frame 6, I might have pulled out for an outgoing establishing shot from profile or even high angle, to show her distancing herself from him even more than the front/back shot here.
Sorry for the long comment... and hope I'm not coming off like I'm trying to detract from the DD... not at all... congrats on that. Just thought I'd add my two cents
