'He went behind our backs to warn you... he tried to ruin our plans. He'll have to be punished. Its a rule.' Pleasure abruptly rotted into a sick lump of horror as I saw Corey pick up the scalpel. Chris didn't look up. Didn't even flinch when Corey tilted his head up, stood there face to face with him, and plunged the small blade into his kidney. He sank to his knees as if in slow motion, Corey supporting him as he too went down with him. 'I told you, Slave, that fucking with me would not put you in a favourable position. Not like the ones I've had you in before.' He half sneered, half grinned at this before pressing his mouth to Chris's, kissing him viciously, until Chris wilted in his arms, he shoved him backwards, stood up and turned back to me. He opened his mouth, smeared heavily with blood, and a ragged piece of flesh fell onto my bare stomach with a solid, wet thump.
