Sakura was ever so drowsy. The previous day was most eventful. Rika, Naoko and Chiharu had been exposed to the effects of a few of her cards that had gone rogue, purely on the basis of entertaining their master, and had subsequently come into the fold regarding her magic. Then Tomoyo suggested a sleepover for everyone to help deal with the situation and allow the three in question to hear a recap regarding Sakura's magical powers. The awkward moment was when Tomoyo added the suggestion that Sakura should shrink them all so they'd fit in her bedroom more easily, with a subsequent vote of 3 for, 2 against and 2 abstentions. Sakura had thought to make a debate against the idea but her reluctance to disappoint her friends slowed her down enough for it to be decided before she could say or do anything.

All that remained was to cast the shrinking spell. Everything that happened since was quite an adventure for her friends, and yet the late hour when they went to sleep only affected Sakura. As she tried to rouse herself she could hear Tomoyo's tiny voice in her ear and could feel a pair of cold feet upon her cheek. As her vision cleared of its sleepy fog she espied Naoko perched upon her nose. Dazedly she began to smile when she saw how at ease the tiny girl seemed to be.
