Iago as tactician of Nohr managed to turn the tides of the battle using a magical artifact discovered in some mysterious ruins that latches on it's victim head and makes them a meat automaton.

It was a last resort for the tactician given how it even unerved him, adn the scarcity of the artifacts themselves, so these were reserved for the most problematic targets, one of which was Soleil, a children of the deepreams whose spirit wasn't broken after Corrin army defeat, this sunshine still tried to disperse the dusk of Nohr despite being daugher of that land, traitors will be dealt harshly.

Indeed, now she is very obedient to Nohr, Soleil was granted as servant to the soldier that managed to hold her off enough to allow Iago to use the device, surprizingly enough it was a rank and file Lancer, Nohr doesn't care about your status but your skill and that Lancer had a headstart with a personal servant who was once a fearsome warrior.
