Description
I'm uploading a lot of stuff from last year, but that's cause I'm lazy and haven't been doing much.Tree, pen and ink. Sometime last year.

the tree itself is treated nicely. I like the brush strokes. However you should improve on the quality of the ground and the tree's shadow to match the tree's quality. Especially the shadow, its perspective is quite off. The tree is drawn from the side, thus the shadow should be just flat on the ground instead of leveling at an angle.
what pen/brush did you use for the tree? the brushwork is really cool.

Hehe thanks for the crit! I guess I didn't really have the tree's shadow in mind and was just playing around with the brush, but now that you mentioned it, that will really give more life to the pic.
I used a brush pen I bought from art friend... can ask them about it the next time you go there.

is the brush pen a fake Chinese brush with a sponge tip? I had one before, but I felt it's just nice when you just purchased it. After some time, either the ink run out, or the tip became thick.
