March 19, 2011Where am I?
I got lost somewhere in between
I don't know what I'm doing here.
Where am I?
Where's the light that was inside?
How come that I have lost the fire?
There's no path
Just darkness all around
My life
Has gone astray for now
And I need to be found
Heal my heart
Make me smile
I miss those times when I felt alive
And I wonder if I'll ever come back
Where you are?
Guess you're far
I'm standing here alone with no plans
As my days are slipping through my hands

Very interesting work you've come up with here. Very cathartic, very direct, and very poignant. I liked your directness, and the length of this work. It really helps emphasize your message, and the themes you're getting across. Your prose is straightforward, accenting some of the same themes. There is no doubt in my mind this work will speak to many others who are going through the same thing as you, and at least point them in the direction to ask the right questions, or at least be led to Him who has the right answers.
