Excellent tutorial.  I've never thought of using vellum paper for rough sketches; it would save so much on erasing.  I know about the light box - something I plan on purchasing myself   Hope there will be more to come!!

Thank you! The vellum is very easy to erase; I like it.

I plan on doing a longer one in the future, along with an Inking Workshop.

Neat tutorial for all us nosy folk! I like the chatty style, the colour choice for the background, and the font is friendly and easy to read

Thank you! Now do you like the paragraphs above the pictures, or should I put them beside the pictures? And do you think the font is too big?

I like the paragraphs above the pictures as they load almost full-screen (on my monitor at least), and everything is nice and big, which is also useful for anybody viewing it on a tablet or phone. With that in mind, I think the font is about the right size although it may be worth seeing what it looks like a little bit bolder, if that's possible.

It's very subjective, and some people with a massive wide-screen may disagree. However, If you do decide to go for the other option I don't think it would look bad at all, just different. It caught my interest and made me want to read it which is the most important thing.

thank you! <3
Do you actually use this for making comic panels or mostly draw them with ruler?

Hestia-Edwards In reply to Kikifuko [2016-07-17 15:12:19 +0000 UTC]

I just use the stencils for the mirrors in the background. For the panels I use a ruler.
