Description
Warning: Those who are sensitive about the Holocaust may find something Germany says highly offensive. Please remember that I am just writing the transcript for the episode, and none of the words are mine.~*~*~*~*~*Look! It's a kitty! >^.^< Hao! Hao!*~*~*~*~*~
America: My fellow Allies, we must not allow the Axis to terrorize us! Now is the time when we, the Allies, save the rest of the world! Let’s fight together for the American way! We’ll show this Axis of evil how serious we are! I say we hit Italy first, because they can’t drive, and are usually drunk!
[“Kraut” “Wop” “Japan”
“England” “Russia”
“France” “China”]
(Opening)
America: (talking with food in his mouth, but this is what it sounds like) Ok, we’re so afraid of the Axis (nom) and so agreeing everyone (nom) I think it’s the one who’s secretly in love with Britain and (nom) and though he’s SECRETLY IN LOOOVE WITH BRITAIN haha (nom) I cannot see around it; I did nothing!
[“Munch, munch”]
England: I can’t understand a single word you’re saying! Would you please just stop eating!
America: My vocabulary can be intimidating.
(England: Ah…)
America: I’ll stop eating this absurd pile of hamburgers so you can focus better.
America: (sluuuuurp) Axis (sluuuuurp) bad guys (sluuuuurp) Allies (sluuuuurp) good guys…
[“Slurp”]
America: Ah… and the hero is me!!
England: Oh, shut it!!
Italy: Hey Germany, check it cool! This is my big brother Romano! Isn’t he sheezy?
Germany: Ugh… hi I’m Germany. A pleasure.
Italy: I’m the north of the country, and he’s the southern part! Since we’ve always been governed separately, he had to spend more time with our big brother Spain, so he’s become kind of a dick! Right? Now say hi to my friend!
Romano: Suck my balls you dumb potato eater.
Germany: Ah…!
Italy: Oh boy, it’s hug time…
Romano: Would you stop it with your hug therapy already!?
Germany: I’ll never understand Catholics…
Germany: Hetalia!
Romano: Ok, Mr. Super Studly. What’d you do to twist-a my brother’s head around so bad?
Germany: Uh… what do you want…?
Romano: Che palle! Don’t play dumb with me; that’s-a my brother’s job, and I know you’ve got some plan for him that’s sinister, and sure, your highways don’t have speed limits, but that doesn’t give you the right to criticize-a when men microbrew the best, big kraut breath!
Germany: Stop right there. You can’t blame me for what-
Romano: This weatherman is predicting a 99% chance of shit storm and it’s coming right at ya!
France: I have finally succeeded in entering Germany secretly! Now I can take him by surprise!
Romano: AHHH! It’s France! Protect me!!!!
France: Oh no! It’s Germanyyyy!!!!
France: Hetalia!
Romano: Hey there, Hasselhoff! I brought a little surprise for you!
[“How to get along with Italians: Brothers”]
Germany: Great… what is it? Another Jew?
Romano: I have created a secret weapon for such singular purpose and stealthiness that you will be helpless to its powers!
Moustache!
Ahhhahaha! Hoohoo! You look-a so very stupid, with your big bushy mustache like some hipster at an art school party! Ahahahahaha!!!
Germany: Uh… you do know it looks like you have the mustache from where I stand…
Romano: Ahh! Turn your head! No! Don’t look! I’m so ugly!!!!
Germany: Hetalia!
Romano: Waaah! No fair! My secret moustache totally backfired on me!!! I quit! Waaaaah!!!
Italy: Don’t cry, Romano…! Germany doesn’t care about your mustache! He’s really a nice guy; trust me! He’s really helpful when it’s to his advantage, and he certainly knows how to keep things organized! Plus he’s strong and pretty and whiter than anybody! And that has got to count for something, at least in this day and age, at least when keeping liquor stores out of your neighborhood! Also, Germans sound real funny! And laughing is good for the heart!
Romano: Ah… Veneziano…?
[Italy Veneziano:
Italy’s full name]
Romano: Just once, would you say-a nice things about ME like that…?
Italy: Uh…
Romano: I HATE YOU SO MUCH!
Italy: Where are you going, Romano?
Kids: Chibitalia!
HRE: I’m home… I put them under my control- AH!
HRE’s thoughts: Italy is in my house!!
Chibitalia: Ah… ah…?
AAAAAHHH! I’m so sorry!! I’ll do anything, just please don’t hit me!!!
HRE: Nn…!
Chibitalia: Ah… I wonder what’s bothering him…!
HRE: Haah…! (happy rolling around and laughing and cheering)
Austria: Control yourself.
Phone: *riiiing*
[“Continued Next Episode”]
(Marukaite Chikyuu: Italy)
Translations
• Kraut: slang for a German, particularly the German soldiers during the world wars. It used to be short for sauerkraut. (English)
• Wop: a contemptuous term for an Italian (English)
• Sheezy: slang for a really awesome person. If someone calls you this, you’re special to them (source: urban dictionary)
• Studly: An attractive man with a nice body. Good looking and manly (source: urban dictionary)
• Che palle: That sucks (Italian). It’s a strong term, and the hostile way Romano uses it could probably be better translated as “What balls,” which is more literal. Palle literally means balls, like the kind you throw in gym, but here it means a different kind.
• Hasselhoff: David Hasselhoff, I guess…? He’s an actor, singer, producer and businessman. I know him from the Spongebob Squarepants movie. He’s pretty buff, I guess.
• I put them under my control: Holy Rome wasn’t very good at being unified, so rebellions happened a lot.

"I’ll never understand Catholics" is Italy a majorly Catholic country? I don't know

Italy (and most of southern Europe) is predominantly Roman Catholic, yes! Italy especially is interesting, because until the unification of the country the Papal States (in Italian it's literally Church State) was right in the middle of the peninsula. It was where the Pope lived and did his Pope stuff. Even today, the remnants of the Papal States, Vatican City, can be found in Rome, and the Pope still lives there. ^^

Wow, that's interesting... I still don't understand Catholics, though. And I really should. I mean, I'm not Catholic, but I have this problem where I make characters a religion different from my own, and I have no clue what I'm doing. I made an Israel Hetalia OC, and she's Jewish, and I'm not Jewish, and I don't know anything about the virtues of Judaism except they don't believe Christ was resurrected, and that seems too dumb to be the entire basis of the religion, so there has to be more.

(Aaa sorry this response is like two months after the initial response)
Judaism and Christianity religiously are incredibly similar up until the Jesus part. Both believe the Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures (Genesis through Deuteronomy) as authoritative scripture, have the same concept of Heaven and Hell, and share an ethical code. With this in mind, an Israeli OC's internal reasoning would be very similar to that of a Christian (regardless of denomination)!
On our good pal, Christianity teaches that he was the fulfillment of prophecies of a Messiah. Judaism teaches that he was a good teacher and maybe even a prophet, but not the Messiah.
Some basic daily life differences that might come into play with an OC are:
-Avoiding any foods made from pig (this includes things made with gelatin! However foodstuffs regularly made with gelatin in the West can be made without, so gummy bears made in Turkey for example are safe to eat). Other foods they avoid are shellfish and most bugs. They also try to separate meat from dairy.
-Charity is incredibly important to them
-There is a period of fasting, and the holidays/calendar are different, but this is easy to find info on when you feel the need
Whether she follows her religion in a secular or orthodox manner, I hope this presents itself as a starting point for further developing your character! (Also please keep in mind that I myself am not Jewish; this information comes from a mix of research/my studies and what I remember from my Jewish friends.)

Yeah, I had to do a lot of research into kosher law. I actually made a Hetalia comic with my OC, entitled "Kosher McDonalds". Apparently the only thing I got wrong was that some Jewish people have to wait said hours between eating meat and cheese.

It took MANY run-throughs...but I think I have that part you're missing:
"...your highways don’t have speed limits, but that doesn’t give you the right to criticize-a when men microbrew the best, big kraut breath!"
That's the best I can figure out.
BTW, "highways don't have speed limits" is an allusion to the famous Autobahn highway which DOESN'T have speed limits. And "microbrewery" is a smaller place that makes beer...which I'm sure Germany would have a beef with. Not sure if Italy has the best microbreweries, though...

Hmmm... sounds pretty legit! I'll check it out after work, thank you so much!
And Italy has a pretty old brewery named Peroni, but idk if it's "micro-" or not.

Just beware, I might suddenly use Italian for examples.

That's awesome you do trans-scripts! On Netflix they took axis powers off and that was the only place I get to see axis powers in English! (How dare they!? >:[ ) but now with these trans-scripts I can read them and picture it in my head. It's look watching an episode in my mind. Thank you for doing these!

I'm very glad I was able to help you out! I don't have Netflix, but it still sucks that they would do that... and I love the idea of watching an episode in one's mind! Thanks for the support!

I think that the dubbed version needs subtitles more than the subtitled version.

And sometimes you can play a clip sixty times and it still doesn't make sense. Like Romano's random gibberish after saying Germany's highways don't have speed limits.
