PKMN Trainer Heath

Gender: Male
Age: 23
Height: 6' 3''
Hair Color: Dark brown, beard- slightly redder hue
Eye Color: Olive Green
Features: Wears a black hoodie -he often rolls the sleeves up when it's warm. He also wears long cargo-like pants, heavy duty shoes and a green wristband with a pokeball logo on it.

Personality: Heath is a serious trainer; but unless the situation calls for it, he then lapses back into a rather lazy demeanor. He often stays up all night and sleeps during the day during his travels, which would account for his typical pokeball of choice being the duskball. He's very strategic and calculating when battling, keeping calm and steady while trying to out-think his opponents. He tends to have an easy going relationship with his pokemon, but when it comes to battling and training, he's stern and focused. He doesn't let most things get to him and only grows excited when battling or training along side his team. His pokemon look up to him and, for most of them, they take on his calm and laid back nature.

Background: As a youngster, Heath grew up in Argent Town, a small village near Mt. Silver valley, off Route 23 & 22. He often took time to visit Mt. Silver, watching the pokemon from a distance, hoping to one day become a trainer and have one of his own. When the time came to get his starter pokemon, he went to Pallet Town to see Prof. Oak, glad to finally be able to get his new pokemon. Unfortunately, Oak had already given away his last pokemon, a Bulbasaur, to an energetic young trainer. However, Prof. Birch was in town, visiting Prof. Oak; seeing Heath's predicament, he offered him the chance to choose from the starters he had brought along from Hoenn. Elated at this turn of events, Heath chose Treecko as his first pokemon before setting off on his journey, training and battling his way across Kanto and Johto. After many years of traveling, visiting Sinnoh amongst many other locations, he's finally made his way back to Kanto ready for any and all challengers.

Pokemon

Rotom- Denki
Gender: none
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate: is immune to Ground-type attacks, Spikes, Toxic Spikes and the Arena Trap ability.
Attacks: Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Willo-o-Wisp, Thunderwave
(when in alternate forms, 'Thunderwave' is switched out for the new form's special move--Leaf Storm, Overheat, etc.) (form will not be changed during battle, only beforehand)
Info: Most recent addition to the team. Highly energetic and mischievous pokemon, but can be a bit shy around those it does not know. Thanks to its alternate forms, it is a very useful and convenient pokemon to have while training in the wild with no washer or fridge (though Denki will often just eat the food or hide the clothes that have been placed inside of it) Denki has a habit of short circuiting any pokeball that it is confined to; so Heath generally lets Denki roam about as it pleases, so long as it stays out of trouble.

Alakazam- Spork
Gender: Female
Nature: Timid
Ability: Synchronize: if an opponent burns, poisons or paralyzes this Pokemon, the same condition inflicts the opponent.
Attacks: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Recover, Focus Blast
Info: Spork got her name from the slight nervous habit she has of nibbling on her spoon when she's anxious or thinking deeply, giving it a rather jagged tip--so her previous trainer gave her the nickname and it stuck. Being traded as a Kadabra, she evolved, though that only gave her another spoon to chew on. Spork is a very shy pokemon, but Heath has helped her learn to focus on overcoming her nervousness, though her tattered spoons remain an ever present reminder for her, urging her to continue to hone her metal skills and psychic abilities.

Larvitar- Slate
Gender: Male
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Guts: when this Pokemon is poisoned (including Toxic), burned, paralyzed or asleep, its Attack stat receives a 50% boost; the burn status' Attack drop is also ignored.
Attacks: Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Rock Polish
Info: This Larvitar was the very first pokemon Heath caught after returning to Mt. Silver to train. Slate is a very powerful and hardworking pokemon, whose skill and strength far outweigh his diminutive size. Slate is always trying to increase his experience and endurance, training and battling whenever he can--trying to evolve; but despite his obvious high level, he's been strangely unable to evolve--much to his frustration, especially when Shida and Tamba became fully evolved. Heath does his best to try to calm Slate down when he can, forcing him to relax and have fun whenever he begins to overwork himself. Unknown to anyone, as a youngster -feeding on dirt as young Larvitars do- Slate had accidentally swallowed an Everstone, which then became lodged inside him. Thanks to it's ever-enduring nature, the stone has stayed within him all this time...though many heavy blows may just be all that it needs to become dislodged..

Sceptile- Shida
Gender: Male
Nature: Serious
Ability: Overgrow: when its health reaches one-third or less of its max HP, this Pokemon's Grass-type attacks receive a 50% boost in power.
Attacks: Earthquake, Leaf Storm, Dragon Pulse, Synthesis
Info: Shida was Heath's starter pokemon, and has grown up with all throughout their travels. As such, he's almost fully emulated Heath's laid back demeanor but always knows when to be serious, despite his perpetual grin. Shida, Tamba and Slate are very close as they all grew up together, training together and always sharpening each other's skills. Shida is often challenged by Slate to spar, as his typing and attacks form a great obstacle for Slate to overcome.

Vaporeon- Hydra
Gender: Female
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb: when a Water-type attack hits this Pokemon, it recovers health equal to the damage that it would have taken; this Pokemon can recover up to 25% of its max HP in this way.
Attacks: Wish, Surf, Ice Beam, Toxic
Info: Hydra is a strong and proud pokemon, but always tries to look her best. Her battling is swift and elegant, while playful and energetic. Hydra has come to be a great match to Denki's energetic spirit, playing and chasing each other about when they have free time, despite Denki's electrical form. Hydra has trained herself to become able to withstand plenty of punishment in battle, while still retaining the wherewithal to continue on.

Flygon- Tamba
Gender: Female
Nature: Naive
Ability: Levitate: is immune to Ground-type attacks, Spikes, Toxic Spikes and the Arena Trap ability.
Attacks: Earthquake, Roost, Draco Meteor, Fire Blast
Info: Tamba was the third pokemon that Heath caught, soon after Slate, and has grown alongside her fellow pokemon throughout the years. Tamba generally takes up the task of ferrying Heath about when needing to fly from place to place, though she does not know the move Fly anymore. A relaxed, but powerful battler, Tamba is one of Heath's most versatile pokemon, making her his main choice as his lead pokemon when going into a battle with a new opponent.
